Here We Go Again

It's November, and you know what that means.

For some it may be a month of preparing to eat a large meal centered on an unfortunate targeted bird, but for the rest of us it's National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).

You may recall that during the Great MacBook Meltdown of mid November '08, I lost 30,000 words written for NaNoWriMo. Well, I have mourned them long enough, and will reattempt the same book this year--50,000 words by November 31.

It's on--and I'm already a day behind. But, I like being an underdog.

That happened to me when I was writing my novel, but I rewrote it better. Maybe it was a sign from the gods.

Yes, it's so true--you already know what direction to head. It certainly was a sign--at the very least to get a new computer. :) Thanks for sharing your story, Margaret.

Shantarum (Roberts), a remarkable 1000 page tome was destroyed by prison guards when the author wrote his first draft in prison. Sat down and wrote it all again!!
Beavering away on Nanowrimo again this year - at 36,000 so end in sight.

Hi there! Your beavering is impressive. Did you find a home for last years' nanowrimo result?
