Hi Bill...thanks for hopping over to LL. The Cabbage Rabbit is you, yes? I never managed to get a hold of a galley for this title, and none of my editors were interested in a review on such a slim volume. He's one of those writers who really makes me stretch myself as a reader. I was talking about him at my writing group the other week.
Murakami is one of those rare writers who plays with form and expectation. What he creates is art. I think it's very hard. There aren't many who do it. That's why I always find his work interesting.
